Guide To Root HTC One E8 And Instal Twrp Recovery

Prerequisites:

1. This Will Result In The Warranty Period Of The Device. We Will Not Be Liable If You End Up Masonry Or Equipment Damage. Do It At Your Own Risk.

2. This Should Be Flashing A Custom Recovery As Well.

3. This Should Apply Only To Windows-Based PC.

4. You Should Have Installed The Appropriate Drivers On Your PC. If You Have Not, Download And Install The Latest Drivers From Here.

5. You Have To Unlock The Bootloader Of The Device. You Can Do This From HTCDev Website.

Download The Required Files:

1. Download The ADB And Save It To Your Desktop.

2. Download TWRP Recovery And Save It To Your Desktop.(Download Link Can Be The First Article In)

3. Download SuperSU And Save It To Your Desktop.

ADB 1. Extract the file to your desktop by right-click and select extract here.

2. The title menu> Settings> Developer Options> USB Debugging enabled USB debugging on device.

Via USB cable 3. Connect your device to your PC.

4. Start a command prompt window on the desktop. To do this, simply hold down the Shift key, then right-click any blank area on the screen, select the Open command window here.

5. Type the following command into the command prompt window:

adb reboot-bootloader

6. Your device should reboot into bootloader mode.

7. Then issue the following command you have downloaded the actual name of the restored image replacement filename.img:

fastboot flash recovery filename.img

8. should flash recovery device.

9. Then, issue the following command:

fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot

10. Your device should reboot.

11. you’re done!

Great! Your HTC One E8 is now a custom recovery installed. Here is how you root your device:

Rooting:

1. USB Cable To Connect The Device To Your Computer.

2. Copy SuperSU Shift From The Desktop To The Root Of Your SD Card.

3. Open A Command Prompt Window On The Desktop. To Do This, Simply Hold Down The Shift Key, Then Right-Click Any Blank Area On The Screen, Select The Open Command Window Here.

4. Enter The Following Command Into The Command Prompt Window:

adb reboot recovery

5. Your Device Should Reboot Into Recovery Mode.

6. Click On Installation.

7. Select SuperSU.Zip File Is Flashed On Your Device.

8. Touch To Confirm The Flash Card.

9. The File Will Begin To Flash On The Device.

10. When It Is Completed, By Clicking On The Restart After A System Reboot Your Device.

11. Do You Rooted Now!

Congratulations! You Have Successfully Rooted Your HTC One E8.
