Xiaomi has included three different methods for a user to take screenshots on the Redmi Note 10S. The first method is the most popular and traditional way of pressing two hardware buttons simultaneously. The other two methods include Xiaomi’s own software features first, using a notification panel, and second, using gestures.

1. Redmi Note 10S Screenshot – Using Key Combination:

This is the first and most common method to take a screenshot of your Redmi Note 10S using a key combination.

  • Open the screen that you want to capture.
  • Then, press the Power button and the Volume Down button at the same time for a couple of seconds.

Do not release the keys until the screen flashes. This flash indicates that the screenshot has been taken. After the screenshots are taken a small screenshot popup will appear at the top of the screen. The menu will have two options: the first option is to enable Scroll Capture and the second option is to share the image on various platforms.

Note: You can use the “Scroll Capture” feature on all those methods in the same way. After the screenshot is taken, click on the scroll option and take Scroll Capture (extended screenshot) on Redmi Note 10S.

2. Using Notification Toggle:

This is a very easy and shortest method for most Xiaomi devices. Here you can take a screenshot of your Redmi Note 10S using the “Notification Toggle”. This feature doesn’t need any hardware button and this trick is very cool.

  • Open the screen that you want to capture.
  • Drag down the notification panel and find the screenshot icon.
  • Tap on the Screenshot icon to take a screenshot.
  • The screen will flash and a screenshot has been taken.
