It’s not new when the Apple does a thing even if it makes no sense other companies grab it immediately. After the headphone jack removal Apple removed chargers from their iPhone 12 series. Samsung and other companies obviously trolled Apple. Now Samsung may sell Galaxy S21 without charger and headphones.
It’s not yet confirmed but the details coming out right now suggests the same. Reports from SamMobile also suggesting the same. Recently, the certification also came out from the Anatel. It is a smartphone clearing agency and it shows the Galaxy S21 without a charger might be shipped.
You can check the above image for more information. There was some point in removing the headphone jack like, most of the companies are trying to sell their wireless headphones, AirPods, etc. But in the case of the charger, it doesn’t make any sense.

Just like the Apple removed the charger showing the environmental concern. Samsung is expected to do the same. This so called environmental concern doesn’t make any sense. People will have to buy the chargers for sure. Who wants to use last year slow charger with the current gen smartphones?
Its strange that, Samsung and other brands mocked Apple on their charger removal announcements. Though Samsung tried to include the 3.5mm headphone jack but they removed it too. Now the case of chargers looks the same. There is no environment concern, it will just boost up their accessories sales.
If Galaxy S21 without charger is going to get sold, then other companies will surely follow. Though there is another point that removing the charger might lower some cost of the smartphone. But the margin would be less for sure.
