Guide To Root And Install TWRP Recovery On YU YUreka Plus

Yu-Yureka-Plus-root-twrp

Successfully Managed To Root The Device, I Was Able To Do As Well. The Process Is Similar Yureka, Unless You Use The Latest Version Of Twrp And Latest Chainfire Su Binary 2.46.

Prerequisites:-

  • Backup All Phone Data Include Apps Contacts Photos From Internal Storage
  • Enable USB Debugging Under Development Options (Can Be Set By A Plurality Of Taps To Enable The Internal Version Number> About)
  • Go To Develop Options And Disable The Update Recovery.

Downloads:-

  • Install ADB Driver –Link
  • adb+fastboot zip –Link
  • UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip –Link
  • TWRP Recovery –Link

Complete Step-By-Step Instructions:-

  • Copy Update-supersu-v2.46.zip To Sd Card.
  • Use The USB Cable To Connect Your Phone To The PC.
  • Enable Usb debugging :-
    1. Settings > About Phone > Build number > Tap it 7 times to become developer;
    2. Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.
  • Navigate To The Folder Where You Have Abd+fastboot.
  • Copy Download TWRP Recovery Rename TWRP_V2.8.7.0_YUREKA.img To Recovery.img File To Abd+fastboot Folder
  • Then Click File> Hold Down The Shift + Right> Select The Open Command Window.
  • Open Command Here Enter The Following Command In The CMD Window
adb reboot-bootloader

Your Phone Will Reboot Into Fastboot Mode.

Then Type

fastboot -i 0x1ebf oem device-info
  • If Your Bootloader Is Unlocked, It Will Say “true”, Else It Will Say “false”. If It Is False, Then Do The Next Step.
  • Then Enter The Following Command In The CMD Window:
fastboot -i 0x1ebf oem unlock

Now Confirm In Mobile By Pressing Volume Up Key 

Warning: All Your User Data Will Be Lost! Now You Can Root Your Phone In Two Ways

Now One More Time Turn On Your Phone And Type The Command And Hit Enter

adb reboot-bootloader

Your Phone Will Reboot Into Fastboot Mode.

Method 1 If You Want To Keep The Original Recovery – Hot boot :-

  • Its Only Turn One Time In TWRP Recovery .
  • Then Enter The Following Command In The CMD Window:
fastboot -i 0x1ebf boot Recovery.img
  • This Will Start The Twrp Your Device. Update-supersu-v2.46.zip Navigate To Where You Saved The File. It Flashes, Wipe Cache, Restart Your Computer, You Root!

Method 2:-

  • If You Want To Flash A Custom Recovery – Flash
  • Then Enter The Following Command In The CMD Window:
fastboot -i 0x1ebf flash recovery Recovery.img
  • Your Cyanogen Recovery Will Be Replaced With TWRP.

Rooting:-

  1. Unplug Your Device.
  2. Hold Volume Up+down+power To Boot Into Recovery.
  3. Install Zip
  4. Browse To Where You Saved Update-supersu-v2.46.zip File.
  5. Select File And Flash This Zip.
  6. Then Wipe Cache.
  7. Reboot Your Phone And Enjoy Your Rooted Device.

    After i entered recovery.img in command window its show Error :can’t load recovery.img
    Please help me sir please

    Download TWRP_V2.8.7.0_YUREKA.img and rename it to recovery.img then copy it to adb+fastboot folder and use the command fastboot -i 0x1ebf flash recovery recovery.img
