Microsoft surface series for 2020 is announced now. Microsoft Suraface Headphones 2 are also revealed recently. Along with the Surface Headphones 2 Microsoft launched Surface book 3 and Surface Go 2. The Surface headphones 2 predecessor was much popular for its features. Active noise cancellations was praised by lots of users. This time Suraface Headphones 2 coming with the more battery and APTX support.
Qualcomm Aptx’s support made this even better now. The 13 level noise cancellation is also available in this newer as available in the original one. There’s a dial on the headphone for volume control. The active noise cancellations and volume design were really good and its retained in this version too. As the audio playback changing button was available for its predecessor it’s available in this version too. You can change the audio playback by the large touch-enabled surface pad.
There’s not much of major change done by Microsoft this time. Surface headphones 2 will support Qualcomm APTX instead of SBC which was available on the previous version. There are 40mm edge free drivers on the Surface headphones 2. It also have the Bluetooth 5.0 technology. One more thing is that the battery is increased now. The total playback time was available on the previous version was 15 hours which is increased to 20 hours wit ANC enabled. In the comfort point of view the headphones 2 can be rotated to 180 degrees for simple and easy use. Also, Microsoft claimed that you will get one hour of playback by charging for just 5 minutes.
Other features includes the integration of Microsoft apps. Like word, outlook, powerpoint. So the pricing is set to 249$ and will start shipping from 12th May 2020. The color available is only one that is black.
