How To Replace KingRoot With SuperSu (Kingroot V5 or Kingoroot)

As we all know we did the rooting with Kingroot on Android older versions. It was really an easy process just hit the root option and done. But kingroot is useless after you get the root access. You will only need the SuperSu. So if you have any Kingroot or kingoroot version installed and wants to install only SuperSu then follow this post. There are 3 methods you can try any of them acccording to your choice. So follow the post to know, How To Replace KingRoot With SuperSu (Kingroot V5 or Kingoroot).

How To Replace KingRoot With SuperSu Method #1:

This method we will use Terminal Emulator. So download the Terminal Emulator from Play Store and one ZIP file we will need the link is available at the end of this method.

1.) Make the folder named as mrw in internal storage. Extract ZIP File Replace kingroot with SuperSu in mrw folder.

2.) Now considering you have downloaded and installed the Terminal Emulator.

3.) Run the following command in Terminal Emulator.

su
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

4.) After success with a green text, then hit the below command.

sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

5.) After applying this command your device will reboot with SuperSu installed. If device doesn’t reboots then try above command again. if still doesn’t happen then try another method below. If the system reboots then after booting type below command in Terminal Emulator.

su
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

How To Replace KingRoot With SuperSu Method #2:

In this method what we are going to do is uninstalling the KingRoot manually.

1.)  Now you have rooted your phone with KingRoot. If not again root it with KingRoot.

2.)  Type Code su in terminal emulator app.

3.) Now Go to KingRoot App, Tap on 3 dots and go to settings, Now select uninstall king root and untick the keep backup option. If your device reboots at the time of unrooting then this method will now work.

4.) Now again go to terminal emulator type the below command.

sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

So now kingroot will be uninstalled and you will have the SuperSu.

How To Replace KingRoot With SuperSu Method #3:

In this method we will use Magisk manager to Replace Kingroot with SuperSu.

Requirements for this method are:

  • Android version greater than or equal to 5.0+.
  • Need unlocked bootloader or your device will soft brick.

Method #3:

1.)  Now you have rooted your phone with KingRoot. If not again root it with KingRoot.

2.) Install Magisk Manager, you can get the latest Magisk Manager from HERE.

3.) Now open the Terminal Emulator and type su and hit enter.

4.) Now Go to KingRoot App, Tap on 3 dots and go to settings, Now select remove root and untick the keep backup option and unroot. If your device reboots at the time of unrooting then this method will now work.

5.) Now again go to terminal emulator type the below command.

sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

6.) Now after rebooting your mobile type below command again in Terminal Emulator.

su
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

That’s it, kingroot will be replaced by SuperSu.
