Samsung launched its year flagship smartphone Galaxy S22 Ultra. This time the Snapdragon versions were mostly spread whereas the Exynos versions were limited. Galaxy S22 Ultra is an all-around phone with great specs and designs. Also, in-camera department there’s so much improvement. Google Camera for Galaxy S22 Ultra
Edge 20 Pro on the rear packs a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom with an f/4.9 aperture, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Also, 12 megapixels f/2.2 ultrawide camera. It sports a 40-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.2 aperture. The device has the same stock camera app that we see in many Samsung phones’ software. No doubt the Samsung camera is already the best but still, you can have something to play and try. Install GCam on Galaxy S22 Ultra (SNAP GCAM)
- Download the APK file as well as the config XML file.
- Install the Gcam APK, and put the XML file in the Downloads folder.
- Open the GCam, Double tap on the space between the shutter and the gallery.
- Search for the download directory and select the XML file.
Done, now you can use this Snap GCam which is fully working on Snapdragon versions and partially on Exynos versions.
Install GCam on Galaxy S22 Ultra (Shamin GCAM)
- Download all of the above file APK and config files.
- Install Galaxy S22 Ultra Gcam APK file.
- Now we have to place the XML file. Navigate to, Internal Storage –> GCam –> Configs 8.4 folder. (If folder is not present create it).
- Now paste the Config XML file in this location.
- It’s time to extract the Lib 8.3 Arcide ZIP file. Extract the file.
- Now copy the extracted Lib file and move it to Internal Storage –> GCam –> Configs 8.4 –> Libs folder. (If folder is not present create it).
- Open the Google camera app you installed earlier. Give the permissions and it will crash after a few seconds.
- Run the app again, but this time quickly switch to Video Mode before Gcam crashes.
- Now you will need to open GCam settings, go to additional settings –> config settings –> XML save directory. Don’t change the directory just click on OK.
- Go back to the main screen again and switch video mode quickly to avoid crashing. Double-tap on the space between the shutter and the gallery.
- Now you will be able to load the XML file. Done, now you can use the Google Camera For Galaxy S22 Ultra!!
