Recently, one of the popular payment app in India data has been leaked. The company is denying any breach of data but on the dark web its already on sell. It is not new that the data has been hacked but this is massive amount of data. The data is amounting to about 8.2TB!! Mobikwik user data leaked news was in the news but today there are many confirmations regarding the same.
One of the French white hacker Elliot Anderson shared a screenshot of the same on his Twitter account. The screenshot is shared of the dark web site. On the site one can check their mobile numbers and names. Still, MobiKwik didn’t gave any updates regarding the same. They are still denying the breach as of now.

Mobikwik user data leaked news was highlighted by Rajshekhar Rajaharia on his Twitter account. You can check the below tweet to know more about it. It was revealed around March 2021. The hacker has stated alleged access to the entire database of MobiKwik. Hacker is willing to sell the entire database at the price of 1.5 bitcoins. This amounts to the $84000 price.
The data that’s on offer includes a total of 350 gigabytes of MySQL dumps that include 500 databases. It also consists of 99 million mail, phone passwords, addresses, and data surrounding installed apps, IP addresses, GPS locations, etc. The MobiKwik user data leaked has also given access to the 40 million 10-digit card numbers with month, year, and card hash.
On the other side, MobiKwik has issued a statement earlier,
Some media-crazed so-called security researchers have repeatedly attempted to present concocted files wasting precious time of our organization as well as members of the media. We thoroughly investigated and did not find any security lapses. Our user and company data is completely safe and secure.
