The Google camera 8.0 was out with the Pixel 4A and Pixel 5. Now the Google Camera 8.1 is all set to bring some major changes to the User interface and some cinematic pan features. Currently the update is rolled out to Pixel devices gcam mods might come later. If you have Pixel device you should update it now.
Older Pixel device users will also get the Google Camera 8.1 For Pixel devices. The Gcam 8.0 version was working with sideloading on older Pixel devices. But the Google Camera 8.1 for Pixel devices will work without any sideload. The update has started rolling out to some users in Play Store. Some users are seeing the new revamped UI which was not updated from a long time.
It isn’t clear yet that these features will be available on older phones yet. But the new revamped UI is surely will be available for all the Pixel phones. It is expected that the update will be available with the Pixel 4A and Pixel 5. These are latest launches launched by Google.
