How To Install iOS 12 Emojis For Android (For All Devices)

iOS 12 has been launched days ago, now iOS 13 also came out earlier in Apple WDDC19 event. The emojis on iOS are somewhat different from Android. It doesn’t matter to me btw. Emojis are not my favourite always but at some times it very much useful. There are lots of peoples who already like the emojis and use them extensively. Some of my friends have all the answer in the emoji form. That’s some kinda annoying sometimes but sometimes its fun. Okay, leaving that aside iOS 12 emojis for Android you can install now. Every manufacturer or apps have their own emojis like Facebook, twitter, WhatsApp, telegram etc.

If you like the iOS 12 emojis the most you can use them. It is now available for Android. The emojis are kinda same to Android one but in iOS the emojis were not changed much. Also, Apple updates its emojis time to time with new ones according to the user needs. They look more appealing and with every iOS update the emojis area added and some small changes are made.

How To Install iOS 12 Emojis For Android (For All Devices):

There are two methods you can install the iOS 12 emojis. One is using TWRP recovery, so obviously you need a rooted device for first method. Second method by using MI Explorer, it still requires root access. The third method is for Samsung devices. So let’s start.

#1 Using TWRP Recovery:

  1. Download the iOS 12 EMOJI ZIP file from download section and copy it to your internal storage.
  2. Now turn off your mobile and boot into TWRP recovery.
  3. On TWRP main screen, select Install option and browse for iOS 12 Emoji ZIP file.
  4. Select the ZIP file and swipe to install the ZIP.
  5. Now reboot your phone.

That’s it you have now installed iOS 12 Emoji for Android using TWRP recovery method.

#2 Using MI Explorer:

  1. Firstly, you need to download MI Explorer from play store. Its available free and easy to use also it can browse root files.
  2. Download the iOS 12 EMOJI ZIP file from download section and copy it to your internal storage.
  3. Extract the ZIP file, and you will find NotoColorEmoji.ttf named file. Copy this file.
  4. Now its time to go to system folder. Open the MI Explorer app.
  5. At the top left corner, tap on menu and select Root. It will show you root folder.
  6. Now click on system folder. Then go to fonts folder.
  7. In this folder you will find the file named ”NotoColorEmoji.ttf” backup this file somewhere else just in case.
  8. Now copy the downloaded NotoColorEmoji.ttf file and you have to paste it in system–>fonts folder.
  9. Now to set the permissions, long press on pasted NotoColorEmoji.ttf file, tap on’info’ option from top. Just set the permissions as rw-r–r– or 644.
  10. Just reboot your device. You will have iOS 12 Emojis for Android.

#3 For Samsung Devices:

  1. Firstly, you need to download MI Explorer from play store. Its available free and easy to use also it can browse root files.
  2. Download the iOS 12 EMOJI ZIP file from download section and copy it to your internal storage.
  3. Extract the ZIP file, and you will find NotoColorEmoji.ttf named file. Copy this file.
  4. Now its time to go to system folder. Open the MI Explorer app.
  5. At the top left corner, tap on menu and select Root. It will show you root folder.
  6. Now click on system folder. Then go to fonts folder.
  7. In this folder you will find the file named ”NotoColorEmoji.ttf” backup this file somewhere else just in case.
  8. Now copy the downloaded NotoColorEmoji.ttf file and you have to paste it in system–>fonts folder.
  9. Rename the NotoColorEmoji.ttf file to SamsungEmojiColor.ttf.
  10. Now to set the permissions, long press on pasted SamsungEmojiColor.ttf file, tap on’info’ option from top. Just set the permissions as rw-r–r– or 644.
  11. Just reboot your device. You will have iOS 12 Emojis for Android.
