Enable Call Recording In OnePlus 8T / OnePlus Nord
Here we will a brief guide to enable Call Recording in OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Nord. As we know Oneplus device or OxygenOS running devices comes with lots of the latest features, and these features are the only reason to make the device more attractive. Technically Call Recording features are available on OxygenOS 11 devices but OnePlus hide it for users. Thanks to XDA developer “Shavi_Suri” to share this app in the forum. There are two methods to achieve this, which have been listed below. Let’s go through the guide to enable OnePlus dialer with call recording in OnePlus 8T/Nord.
Without Root Method:
- Your device must be running on OxegenOS 11.
- Download The OnePlus_Phone.apk file below.
- Then copy the downloaded file to your mobile or tablet in internal or external storage.
- Now enable Unknown Sources options from Settings > Security or Settings > Additional settings > Privacy.
- Install OnePlus_Phone.apk Open the app on your device and set it as the default app.
- After that Give all required permissions.
- Now enjoy.
With Root Method:
Prerequisite:
- Your device must be running on OxegenOS 11.
- Your device is rooted with Magisk.
- Patience.
Download OnePlus Apps Magisk Module
OnePlus_Apps_v1.0.zipSteps to Install Modules using Magisk Manager to Enable Call Recording In OnePlus 8T
- Download OnePlus Apps v1.0 and copy its internal storage to the Magisk folder.
- Now open Magisk manager app.
- Click on Module then select Add an icon on the bottom of the middle screen.
- Then navigate to the OnePlus Apps v1.0.zip and click on it to install.
- You will get the option of which app you want to install from all three apps(Contacts, Dialer, and Messaging).
- Then select them using the volume keys: Volume Up for Yes, Volume Down for No.
- Once done, reboot your device.
- After bootup your device open apps and make them default apps and give all required permissions.
- Clear the cache for the newly installed apps before using them.
