The Xiaomi Redmi 10X upcoming Redmi smartphone is powered by Dimensity 820 chipset. It was rumored earlier, it should be coming with Helio G80. But now Redmi 10X will be coming with MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor. The leaked Antutu scored of the chipset shows it beats, popular mid-range snapdragon 765G chipset.
The MediaTek dimensity 820 reached 406664 whereas, the Snapdragon 765 scores 325155. The Chinese social platform posted screenshots of the scores of both chipsets comparatively. MediaTek dimensity is the newest MediaTek processor with 5G connectivity support.
As you can see in the above screenshots the chipsets surpass in all sections. The CPU, GPU, UI, Memory, and UX scores passes the Snapdragon 765G. Talking about the features of Dimensity 820, it has four ARM Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.6Ghz. The 4 Cores clocked at 2.0Ghz frequency.
MediaTek showed off its Artificial Intelligence capacity and camera performance. This chipset supports the camera up to 80 megapixels. MediaTek dimensity 820 supports the 6Ghz 5G network. which is available in Asia, Europe, and North America regions. It has Imagiq 5.0 ISP which supports quad-camera setups. If you compare the Snapdragon 765G, it supports 192 megapixels camera.
Though there are some advantages that Snapdragon 765G has over Density 820. It will be interesting to see how the devices will be priced. Qualcomm already launched Snapdragon 768G, an overclocked version of 765G. There are more MediaTek dimensity processors are coming we will get to know about them soon.
