The popular smartphone performance benchmark tool ANTUTU released the July List. This list includes Top Performing best flagship smartphones and mid-range smartphones.This list collects the data from June 1 to June 31. The latest launches like ROG Phone 2 and other 865+ devices are not yet counted in this list.
ANTUTU benchmark just measures the performance of the phone. It should not be your top consideration while buying the smartphone. Still, if we look at this performance wise, you can find best performance only smartphones. So let’s checkout Best Flagship smartphones and best mid-range smartphones list from July 2020.
Top Performing Best Flagship Smartphones
The top-performing flagship smartphone for June 1 to June 31 is OPPO Find X2 Pro. The Find X2 Pro tops the list with 613048 average points. Find X2 owns second place with 606490 points. Both of the devices have Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Both model’s higher-end variants are tested.
Whereas the Redmi K30 Pro launched recently aquires the 3rd place. Redmi K30 Pro gets 601706 points slightly lower than Find X2. Other recent launches includes, MI 10 Pro, Vivo X50 Pro+.
As you can see all these smartphones have Snapdragon 865 chipset. This shows the disparity in the performance even on the same chipset. This happens due to software optimizations and other factors. This list will surely change with the Snapdragon 865+ smartphones. Asus ROG 3 already beaten the score on launch.
Top Performing Best Mid-Range Smartphones
The mid-range segments of smartphones are overcrowded. Qualcomm is becoming the only one performing in the Flagship segment. Whereas the mid-range segment picture is somewhat changing now. Though lots of users still opt for Qualcomm because of ROM’s and developer support mostly and they are reliable in the longer run.
But now MediaTek and Kirin is coming on par with the performance. In the mid-range list too, OPPO Reno 3 5G topped the position with 442965 points. The second and third position is aquired by Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G. These two have 398015 and 397214 points. Interesting thing is in this list there is only one Qualcomm device and its on the last position.
Top one OPPO Reno 3 5G has MediaTek Dimensity 1000L and Redmi 10X series has Dimensity 820. Just below that Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 pops up. Lastly the Redmi K30 5G comes up with Snapdragon 768G processor. Also, notably the K30 5G has 6GB and 128GB tested variant. Maybe MediaTek may pull something just like AMD is crashing the markets.
