How To Fix Chrome Managed By Your Organization Issue Easily

The Google Chrome browser is one of the most used browsers all around the globe. There are some amazing memes about the RAM-eating issue, though. Recently, I faced an issue that you can fix easily. Just follow the steps to fix the Chrome-managed issues in your organization in just 2 minutes.

I was recently browsing Chrome and cleaned some trash files using CCleaner. Later, after restarting my PC, an option appeared in the Chrome settings. It was showing as managed by your organization. When I clicked that, it showed me that history and all the things can be remotely removed by the administrator.

I was like “What the…. has happened”. I searched for the solutions and got some. Like deleting the policies folder, etc. Although I found a simple solution to fix the Chrome issue managed by your organization. I have made the video too, so you don’t need to worry about it. Let’s fix this issue.

Fix Chrome Managed By Your Organization

Usually, this appears when your PC or Laptop browser is controlled by another administrator. Like, in lots of companies, the browser is monitored for work. But why is this happening on personal PCs? It’s probably some software that caused all of these issues. But if you are concerned, you can scan your PC with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes.

You can reset the settings, and data of your Chrome first. But it’s all your choice, if you want to reset the data you can do it. Go to Chrome settings > Advanced and reset to default. Follow the real method steps below.

Steps

1) Press the Windows + R button to open the RUN program. Otherwise, you can go to Start and search for RUN.

2) Open the run program and type regedit. It will open up the registry settings.

3) Now navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies.

4) Here you can find the Google folder, and under Google, there will be a Chrome folder.

5) Right-click on the Google folder and click on delete.

6) Now again navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies. Again, there will be the same folder named “Google”.

7) Right-click on the Google folder and click on delete.

8) Now restart your PC to apply the changes.
