Recently, the Indian Government banned almost 59 Chinese apps. The list included lots of reputed apps like Tencent apps, and Chinese messenger apps. Now India banned another 118 Chinese Apps on September 2nd 2020. The list includes popular Pubg Mobile Ban and also Pubg Mobile Lite Ban.
Apart from Pubg Mobile, the list includes popular apps like Ludo, Applock etc. Ministry of electronics and telecommunications technology revealed the reports indicating the misuse of these apps. The Indian Ministry Stated,
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has received many complaints from various sources including several reports about the misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users

Total of 118 apps are blocked due to emerging threats as of now. The situation between India and China is not good as of now. Both the governments taking measures to ensure safety concerns. Earlier, the news was spreaded about the same and now Government officially revealed the same. Also the ministry stated,
The compilation of these data, its mining, and profiling by elements hostile to national security and defense of India, which ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India, is a matter of very deep and immediate concern that requires emergency measures.

Banned Apps
The following 118 apps will be banned as per the government’s order. See the below images and check the apps which are banned and will be turned off on ISP level.
These are the apps that were blacklisted earlier by the Government of India. The main reason for the ban seems to be the threat that is hanging around for a while from China. In response, the Indian Government is banning the apps slowly. Apps like Pubg Mobile, Pubg Mobile Lite generates lots of revenue from India.
Just like TikTok Pubg Mobile seems to be gone at least for a while. though just to inform, the Pubg Mobile ban was first seen in Pakistan. The Asian News International tweeted about the same. Previously Government blacklisted 250 apps.
