We all remember the days when the chrome was eating all the RAM we had. Though sometimes it still does, here is the biggest food for Chrome available now. Samsung revealed the latest DDR5 7200MHZ RAM in the official event a few days ago. Forget all the tabs closing just open whatever tabs you want. Because Samsung has the solution, Samsung 512GB RAM is here and it’s expected to get launched soon.

Samsung is already one of the top suppliers of DDR4 RAMs. Now the big guy wants to take lead in DDR5 versions. Samsung teased its new DDR5 RAMs with 7200MHZ module technology. According to Samsung, they have refined the firm’s layer stacking memory packing tech, as used in its latest DDR4 memory modules.

You can check the differences from the above diagram between the DDR4 and DDR5. The process of grinding the silicon layers Samsung made dies 40% thinner. The DDR5 integrated chipsets are actually thinner. Thus, Samsung is now able to stack up 8 stacked DRAMs together manufacturing Samsung 512GB of RAM on a single stick!!

Of course, Samsung claimed improvements were made. One of them is that DDR5 will be twice faster as the previous generation with the speed of more than 6400 Mbps. The other claim is it’ll be 30% more power efficient because of the lower required voltages required to run DDR5 RAM. Check out the below video about this new Samsung tech.
