Recently, the Twitter accounts of famous celebrities, politicians and businessmen were hacked. The Graham Ivan Clark 17 year old teen from Tampa, Florida is now arrested over the massive Twitter hack. On the July 15th multiple famous figures accounts were hacked that tweeted to transfer the bitcoin and get double back.
The hack includes, Tesla And SpaceX founder Elon Musk, Microsoft founder Bill gates, Rapper Kanye West, President Obama and vice president Joe Biden. The hack was so much massive that it lasted over 2 hours. Twitter took more fierce action by disabling all users tweets, locking user accounts etc.
Later, considering this breach as a threat to the National security FBI taken up the case and started an investigation. Though every powerful and influential person accounts were hacked US President Donald Trump’s account was not compromised. According to The Verge, Trump’s account had some extra security features due to past incidents.
Lots of influential people tweeted as “Giving Back To The Community”. Send the bitcoins to the given address and you will receive the double. This was the largest hack in Twitter history scamming over $180000 worth of bitcoins. Bitcoins are a lot difficult to track and recover in the scam. Though Graham Clark was not alone in this task. But it’s said he was that architect of this attack.

Hillsborough attorny Waren filed over 30 felony charges on Florida teen this week. he is facing charges like organised fraud, 17 communications fraud, fraudulent use of personal information over $100,000 on 30 or more victims. As per the attorney, he will considered as a adult due to this massive crime. Twitter posted a tweet just after the arrest.
Alongside Graham Clark, two more people are charged. Nima Fazeli 22 year old from Florida, 19-year-old Mason Shepphard from the United Kingdom are charged as of now. They will face five years in prison and a $250,000 fine and 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, respectively. While Clark faces 30 felony counts. The Twitter tweeted,
This attack relied on a significant and concerted attempt to mislead certain employees and exploit human vulnerabilities to gain access to our internal systems.

Previously, Twitter told, that hackers used the phone to fool employees and giving them access to their accounts. They targeted only a few number of accounts. After getting the account details and access they targeted other Employees that had access to account support tools. The hackers targeted over 130 accounts and tweeted from 45 accounts.
According to the report, The Tampa teen Graham Clark got the access first and then carried out the attack. Most interestingly, the report says, he allegedly convinced the Twitter employee and convinced him to get the access. One of the hacker Shepphard used his driving license and got verified on Coinbase and Binance exchanges. The same way Fazeli got verified on Coinbase and the account named “Rolex” received these payments in exchange for stolen usernames.
This could have had a massive, massive amount of money stolen from people, it could have destabilized financial markets within America and across the globe; because he had access to powerful politicians’ Twitter accounts, he could have undermined politics as well as international diplomacy.

Florida Prosecutor said in the statement, that he will be charged as an adult. This hack damage is still in counting about $100,000+ worth money is scammed due to this scam. Also, this will be treated as a serious crime, and one will not get away with the online scam.
