1: Back-Up Important Data And Stuff Before You Start Playing Around Here As There Are Chances You Might Lose Your Apps And App-Data (App Settings, GameProgress, Etc.), And In Rare Case, Files On The Internal Memory, Too.
INSTALLATION
Method 1: via Mi Recovery
- Download The Recovery Zip File Rename It To Update.Zip.
Now Connect Your Redmi 1S To The PC Using An USB Cable And Transfer The Update.Zip To The Root Of Your SDcard
Open The Updater App From The App Drawer And Press The Menu Key - Now Select The Reboot To Recovery Mode Option From The Menu Which Will Take You To The Recovery Mode
Select The Language As English.
Select The Apply Update From SDcard Option And Select The Update.Zip
Once The Installation Is Complete - Reboot The Device And Once Again Boot Into Recovery
Method 2: Via Fastboot Mode
- Download The Fastboot .zip File Extract It To Anywhere Now Connect The Phone
- Power Of The Phone Press Volume Down + Power Key You Will See The Screen
- Connect The Phone Via USB Driver Will AutoInstall In Windows 7, 8 Or Install MI Phone Manger Download It From Here
- Now Open The Fastboot Folder Press Shift + Mouse Left You Will See Open Command Here Option Click It
- Now Extract ***.Image File From Recovery Zip Files Extract It ON Fastboot Folder Rename It To recovery.img
Now Paste The Commands –
fastboot fastboot flash recovery recovery.img fastboot reboot
