MIUI 12.5
The MIUI 12.5 is an improved and enhanced version of MIUI 12 according to Xiaomi. It includes battery optimizations, bug fixes, privacy improvements, and a lot more. Though Xiaomi mentioned it is not a minor update but its major update. But don’t know why Xiaomi avoided the MIUI 13 name. Xiaomi as always compared their user interface mainly with the iOS user interface.
If the numbers are to be considered Xiaomi showed some in stats. MIUI 12.5 will use 20% less memory, 25% less power, the background usage decrease of about 35%. Also, they stated that there will be only handful of system apps. Though budget devices are flooded with ads as of now.
In MIUI 12 Xiaomi announced the super wallpapers. Now with the 12.5 new dynamic wallpaper that will adapt with your weather around you is available. The dynamic wallpaper is based on the mountains and the sounds of 4 different tones will be available too. Also, some privacy changes are being done. The closed BETA version is already out for few devices and it’s expected to be available for other devices soon.
