Samsung and AMD are in partnership for making the new mobile chipsets. After almost beating the biggest Processor giant Intel AMD is focusing on more products. Samsung Exynos chipsets GPU are having very little performance than Andreno in Galaxy S20. Samsung already faced lots of humiliation over the Exynos capability. The recently launched Galaxy S20 series chipsets were just thrashed for performance compared to their Snapdragon counterparts. So the AMD is going to launch RDNA 2 GPU for Exynos chipsets which are already in the hype. AMD is supposed to launch RDNA 2 and Zen 3 lineup this year. A twitter user KaZen tweeted the news via his twitter which the news comes from Taiwan.
A leak came out today about the RDNA chipsets. In the future Samsung phones, the RDNA chipsets are going to be available. They are going to be available with Exynos as a replacement for GPU. RDNA 2 Chipset performance test results are already better than expected A14 chipsets. This news came from Taiwan and flooded in AMD Reddit forums. Also, these are just early test results, performance might even get increased over the time of development. It is even said to cross the upcoming Apple A14 chipsets in terms of performances. This is a huge difference, if Samsung going to launch smartphones with this that’ll be a major boost. Apple yearly increases its chipset capacity by about 30% approximately. Even if Apple increases the A14 by 30% this year they will still fall behind the early test results of RDNA2. Theoretically, 160fps Manhattan118fps Aztec normal 44fps Aztec high. This will be huge for both Samsung and AMD in the mobile GPUs market. AMD is already dominating in high power desktop chipsets by beating Intel. Remember, AMD was the one who sold the Andreno probably because of money. Now it seems AMD is coming back to get the place. We will get to see this new RDNA 2 chipsets by the end of the year or in 2021.
