Install TWRP Recovery on Moto G7
Before doing all those processes first, need to unlock the bootloader of Moto G7. Without unlocking the bootloader you can’t install TWRP in your device. First, unlock bootloader of Moto G7 then follow the guide below to install TWRP on Moto G7.

Download Moto G7 TWRP Recovery
- TWRP Recovery: twrp-3.3.0-0-river.img
- ADB Tool: ADBFASTBOOT TOOL
Install TWRP For Moto G7:
1.) Make sure your device bootloader must be unlocked.
2.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool.zip” extract it in a desktop.
- Download TWRP img from above.
3.) Rename TWRP recovery IMG file “twrp-3.3.0-0-river.img” to “recovery.img” and copy to adb-fastboot-tool Folder.
4.) Open cmd windows in “adb-fastboot-tool” folder by Shift + Mouse Right click.
5.) Connect your device to the PC, make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
6.) Now Reboot your device in Bootloader Mode, using this command.
adb reboot bootloader
7.) Once your device in fastboot mode, Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to install TWRP recovery on Moto G7.

9.) Put the TWRP image in your external SD Card or, in case you don’t have one, push it to /data with adb this way:
10.) Tap Advanced -> Install Recovery Ramdisk -> Navigate to /data or /external_sd and select TWRP -> Swipe to Install.
11.) That’s it.
