Xiaomi has the most of its userbase in India. Their most selling products are smartphones which makes lots of profit from India. Xiaomi has a wide range of products in China. Products from Smart underwear to high-end robots. Xiaomi released TVs in India which made them lots of profits. Xiaomi became the choice of many Indian consumers for smart TVs. They assemble lots of their smartphone locally in India. But their IoT products are mostly imported from China. Lots of companies are looking for getting the business in India. Whereas, Xiaomi is already well settled in India so they can advantage of it and make more products and sell them in India. The primary source for Xiaomi is smartphones, yeah with ads.

Xiaomi already assembling the MI Powerbanks in India. The factory includes almost 35000 workers. The company is already in the products which are available right now, like TVs and smartphones. Mi Purifier was announced earlier but its still imported from China. Due to these ongoing conditions the better way is to manufacture them locally. It will result in reduced costs with more quantities to sell. Xiaomi imports products like fitness bands, air water purifiers, smart LED bulbs etc. Xaiomi’s chief business officer said that,

We are looking forward to launch more and more IoT products in India. Our aim is to make things simple for customers and for this, we unveiled ”Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P”. The main idea behind launching the product during coronavirus pandemic was to encourage social distancing.

Recently, Xiaomi offered the MI Robot Vacuum Mop-p which was multi directional sensors. This robot used for cleaning, which is heavy task in these pandemic situations. Xiaomi India offered this robot for crowdfunding and expected at least 10000 orders. However, only 2500+ peoples are signed for crowdfunding. Research conducted by company revealed that, most of the buyers are from urban areas. Other can’t place the orders because of the lockdown situations. The Robot is available for 17,999rs with 2999rs monthly EMI payment. Due to these conditions Xiaomi India is waiting for the market to go normal, then they’ll manufacture it accordingly.

After the crowdfunding offer, Xiaomi will offer 19999rs for June 16 to July 15. Later price will be 21999rs from July 15 to August 15. As soon as the they will get the enough orders from the customers Xiaomi will start shipping them. It is expected that product will be shipped from September 15. The retail price for the Mi Robot is roughly 24999rs. Below is the detailed pricing for Mi Robot from Xiaomi India.

This will be a lot beneficial for India as well as the Xiaomi. Due to more production of IoT products more labor will be used. More economical support will be available for India.
