Google introduced GO versions of its apps last yeat. The apps made very small in size to make it work better with low end devices. In most countries therea are people who cannot afford the high end devices, the low end devices has limited storage and RAM. So the GO versions are really helpful for those device which works like charm. Also, these apps was made available on play store so anyone can download it. Now the most popular fapp from Google, Google Camera GO APK is available to download for all the devices. Recently, there’s been news that Google going to integrate HDR feature in this Google Camera GO APK version. Google developed almost a new OS for devices which are below the budgets like Nokia 1, Redmi GO etc. These are available under Android One programe too that means they are going to get two platform updates and security patches. Google Camera GO APK
The Google camera Go you call it as a lowered down version of the main Google Camera. Though all of the features are not available. But for the low end device its really great and for those who don’t have Camera2Api support. Also, reportadly, Google is going to add up HDR support for the GO version too. Some features like NightSight, Astrophotography are not available in the GO version. About options are available, Photo, Video, poratrait and translation. This same camera comes pre-installed in Nokia 1.3 and Redmi GO too. The camera UI is same as compared to the original camera. Settings options includes, like turning on/off flash, Timer and face enhancing features. I really liked this minimalistic, easy to use UI which everyone who has very little knowledge of phones can use it for good.
I installed this on my smartphone. Above are the screenshots of the In-App camera UI. The picture looks clean, no error, stutters and noise, just like the Stock Camera app. Even though it lacks some key features of the Gcam it still a better option for entry level smartphones. Not only the entry level but devices which are 3-4 year older which doesn’t have any Camera2API support they can use this Google Camera GO APK for their devices.
This Google camera works great with almost all of the devices. I personally used it in low range Redmi smartphone the picture is good as stock camera app and plus point is its really fast no lag and no errors.
