Install TWRP and Root_Xiaomi_CC9:
Before doing all those processes first, need to unlock the bootloader of Xiaomi CC9. Without unlocking the bootloader you can’t root or install TWRP on your device. First, unlock the bootloader of Xiaomi_CC9 then follow the guide below to install TWRP on Xiaomi_CC9.
Thanks to XDA developer ‘RADZIA‘ to build this TWRP Recovery. After installing TWRP recovery on the device, you can easily install magisk on CC9 for root access. Here we provide TWRP v3.3.1 for Xiaomi CC9. So let’s go to the steps below to Root Xiaomi CC9 with Magisk and Install TWRP Recovery.
Download Xiaomi CC9 TWRP Recovery
Extract the above to get the recovery, recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-0709-XIAOMI_CC9-CN-wzsx150.img.
Unlock Bootloader:
- To Unlock the Bootloader Follow this GUIDE.
Download other required files:
- ADB Tool: ADBFASTBOOT TOOL
- Download Magisk from Here.
Install TWRP For Xiaomi CC9:
1.) Make sure your device bootloader must be unlocked.
2.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool.zip” extract it in a desktop.
- Download TWRP img from above.
3.) Rename TWRP recovery IMG file “recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-0709-XIAOMI_CC9-CN-wzsx150.img” to “recovery.img” and copy to adb-fastboot-tool Folder.
4.) Open cmd windows in “adb-fastboot-tool” folder by Shift + Mouse Right click.
5.) Connect your device to the PC, make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
6.) Now Reboot your device in Bootloader Mode, using this command.
adb reboot bootloader
7.) Once your device in fastboot mode, Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to install TWRP recovery on CC9.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
9.) Now TWRP should be installed on your device. Hit the below command to reboot your phone.
Now by holding POWER+VOL UP or DOWN button enters into the recovery to root the device.
Xiaomi CC9 Root
- Turn off your phone and turn into recovery mode By Volume UP + Power.
- Go to Install Navigate to Magisk.zip Swipe to install.
- Reboot your phone.
