Guide To Unlock Bootloader Of Zenfone Max Pro M2 (Unofficial Method):
1.) Extract the unlock ZIP file, to some suitable folder.
2.) Charge your device, minimum 50%.
3.) Backup your important data, in case remove all data.
4.) Install USB Driver from Here.
5.) Enable developer options and USB debugging.
Go to settings ⇒ About phone ⇒ Tap on “build number” 7 times to enable developer options.
Go to your settings ⇒ Developer options ⇒ tick the “ USB debugging ” checkbox.
5.) Enable OEM Unlock,
Go to your settings ⇒ Developer options ⇒ tick the“ OEM Unlock ” checkbox
6.) In the folder where you extracted the files earlier, Go to ADB asus drivers and install the required drivers.
7.) No go to unlock folder, open the command promt and type the following code.
adb devices
8.) USB debugging notification will appear then select allow USB debugging from your phone. Now type below command.
adb reboot bootloader
9.) Now your Max Pro M2 will reboot in fastboot mode. Type below code.
fastboot devices
10.) This command will show your device listed in the command prompt. Type the following command.
unlock.cmd
Now device will show bootloader unlock warning, encrypt and it will reboot. Now your device is unlocked. The best thing is your will still receive OTA’s as in bootloader locked devices. Don’t disconnect the device if you wish to root the smartphone.

After unlocking the bootloader, again reboot your device into fastboot mode by typing the following command in command prompt.
11.) Now you need to flash the patched boot image file. So type the following command and hit enter.
boot patched_boot.img
12.) Now reboot and install Magisk manager APK. Download link in download section.
