Samsung launched Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e with some unique features along with punch hole camera. Samsung didn’t put a notification LED on those devices, but here we share a trick to turn on Punch Hole Notification LED on Galaxy S10/S10e/S10+ using “Holey Light”. This app is occupied very little space for an effective notification LED around the camera cutout. It looks very beautiful like the light in the eyes is shining.
Enable Punch Hole Notification LED On Galaxy S10/S10e/S10+
Holey Light animates the display area around the camera cutout to replace the missing notification LED. It lights up the area only when the notification or message comes otherwise it invisible. Thanks to XDA Senior Recognized Developer ‘Chainfire’ to build the space around the camera cutout for Samsung Galaxy S10/S10e/S10+ to turn on notification LED. This app is fully free and without ads, also limited to only those Samsung devices. If you will use this app on other Android devices then it crashed.

This app works when the screen is on and when the screen is off while charging. At this time when the screen is off and phone unplugged the LED features doesn’t work. This app is now earlier stage so some bugs in it. Chainfire mentions the Punch Hole notification LED animation does not show on the lockscreen, it is not possible to draw on the lockscreen.
Chainfire is exploring solutions to fix those bugs. You have to wait for some time, so be patient.
Install Instruction:
- Download the Holey Light.apk file from below or mirror link (upload soon).
- If you download from mirror link:
- Then Copy the downloaded file to your mobile or tablets in internal or external storage.
- Now enable Unknown Sources options from Settings > Security or Settings > Additional settings > Privacy.
- Install Holey Light.apk.
- Once installation complete, open the app.
- Now give all the permissions and toggle the switch to enable it.
- Enjoy !!!
That’s it now you can enjoy most beautiful Punch Hole LED Notification on Samsung Galaxy S10/S10e/S10+.
