Huawei P9 Plus is the top camera phone of 2016 Released with dual camera setup with Leica Camera technology, Full metal body and premium built, Running on Android 6.0 with Huawei own UI Emui 4.1, There 4 more variant of Huawei p-9 p9, P9 Plus, Lite .P9 Max aLite.
About Huawei P9 Plus: – The smartphone was launched in April 2016. The phone comes with 5.5 inches with a resolution of FHD 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Huawei P9 is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 955 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with 4GB of RAM. 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. Huawei P-9 Plus comes with the main camera 12MP dual rear Leica camera a front shooter of 8 megapixels for a selfie. The Huawei P-9 Plus runs in Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1 and is powered by a 3400mAh non-removable battery.
Preparation:-
- Take a apps, contacts backup.
- You Need Unlock Bootloader to Install Two Here Guide -> Link
- Enable USB Debugging.
Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.
- Download and Install Huawei ADB Fastboot Driver From Here ->Link
- Download the ADB-FASTBOOT-TOOL, TWRP 3.1, SuperSU-2.82.
- Read Guide.

Guide To Install Twrp 3.1 On Huawei P9 Plus:-
Step 1 ->Download and unzip “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” and “twrp-3.1.1-1-vie.img” Rename it To recovery.img and Copy it to adb-fastboot-tool-2016 Folder.
2 -> Go to “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip” folder And Open Cmd There By ⇓⇓⇓
Hold Shift + Mouse Right On The Folder then click open command windows here
3 -> Turn Off your phone and turn it to fastboot bootloader mode by Volume Down + Power.
Or reboot in to fastboot bootloader by adb command “adb reboot bootloader” in switch on phone
4 -> Connect your phone to PC Now type or paste this commands to cmd windows then hit enter.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- This command will flash twrp 3.1 recovery
fastboot reboot
- This command reboot your device normal mode
Guide To Root Huawei P9 Plus Android 7.0:-
- Copy “SuperSU-v2.82.zip” To Your Phone.
- Turn Off Your Phone.
- Turn On It Recovery Mode by (Volume Up + Power ).
- Go To Install Navigate To The SuperSU-v2.82 Swipe To Install.
- Back and Reboot Your Phone.
Note: – Check Root Access With Root Checker, To Back To Stock Recovery After Root Done Flash Stock Recovery From RECOVERY STOCK Folder.

Ok that would be great, I have bootloader unlocked. But there is no way to get TWRP on this device.
