Some days ago Google launched Android Pie. This version of Android comes with lots of latest features. Android Pie bought a massive change to the recent apps switcher. Google now completely change the recent apps panel and home screen to interact easier with users. Previously google change the search bar and app tray and in this pie update change, recent apps screen vertical-scrolling Rolodex to horizontal list of app windows. Enable Android Pie Recent Apps Panel On Third-party launchers
Most of the Android Pie based launches comes without new recent apps features. Many users think these features are exclusive for Pixel Launcher. This feature is integrated into all Android Pie based launchers so it is possible to enable with some android tweak. QuickSwitch is a magisk module brings these features for some supported launchers. This module can be installed via Magisk module or TWRP recovery.

Thanks to XDA Senior Membe Skittles9823 to build this module to enable Android Pie Quickstep on other android pie based device. The module allows the user to choose which launcher has access to Android Pie Recent Apps. It’s future proof, detects which launchers are capable of being the recent provider, and is fairly simple to use. So let’s go to enable Android Pie Recent Apps Panel on Third-party launchers.
Requirements:
- Android Pie.
- Unlocked Bootloader
- Magisk 17+ or TWRP.
- A launcher which can be used as a recents provider (Any).
- Download Launcher:
Download QuickSwitch Module APK

Installation guide to enable Quickstep Enabler
- Download and install the Quickstep module APK file. Follow the instructions if shown.
- After the process is done, Reboot your device.
- Now Open the QuickSwitch app.
- Then select a launcher to be your recent provider.
- Again reboot your device.
- Now enjoy Android Pie Quickstep features on Android.
