Guide To Enable EMUI 5 Style Multi Window On EMUI 4.1 / Android 6
EMUI has packed full of new features and it more optimized than stock Android. This user interface gives you much more features than any other ROM. While you may be stuck with only the top few highlights, including theme and phone manager, there is much more to explore in EMUI 5.0. We have already shared with you much mod, and trick, you can find all things on our website. Today we provide a guide to enable EMUI 5 style multi window on EMUI 4.1 / android 6.
This features only available for a tab, not for Android smartphone. Multi-window in EMUI 4.1 lets you view multiple apps together in split view. If your device runs on EMUI 4.1 or EMUI 5.0 (above) then you also now enable EMUI 5 style multi window on your device and have also rooted your device.
Huawei hasn’t made this easy to activate. This feature included in the EMUI 4.1 and above. You can only enable it by editing the system’s build.prop file by ES File Explorer, changing Android you’re using a “ro.huawei.multiwindow” file permission.
Pre-request:-
- Running on EMUI 4.1.
- Mast be Unlocked bootloader of your device
- Rooted device.
- Root support file manager (ES File Explorer)
⇓⇓ Download EMUI 5 Style Multi Window Files ⇓⇓
Guide To Install Multi Window:-
- Fast of all Download HwMwLauncher.zip and ES File Explorer.
- Then extract both files by WinRar or 7zip.
- Now HwMwLauncher folder to your Android device, and install ES File Explorer application (you can also use root explorer or es file manager).
- Open ES File Explorer and Go to /system and open build.prop.
- Search for ” ro.huawei.multiwindow ” and change it from false to true.
- Back to root and locate system/app and move HwMwLauncher folder here.
- Long-press the file or permission to choose correct permissions for folder and files. The permissions of oat and arm64 folders must be same as the one for HwMwLauncher folder. And the permission of .odex file must be same as .apk one. Shown in the picture:
- After done, reboot your device and enjoy.
