The dark mode is the most trending nowadays. Why should not, it looks great and also saves battery on AMOLED devices. Firstly, Google turned all of its apps to materialistic design now dark mode is going to be applied. It’s applied for most of the devices. Also, Android Q has officially system-wide dark mode enabled. So the Google photos are now also joining the dark mode party. So here’s How To Enable Dark Mode In Google Photos (Latest Update).

Google Photos Dark Mode:

The systemwide Dark Mode changes the entire look of the OS from the light to dark themes. Also, all Google stock apps support the dark theme. The dark mode is slowly applying to all the Google stock apps. It looks great and more appealing. Of course, at night it looks flawless. I used dark mode on Samsung AMOLED displays and it is just love!! It’s now turned to enable the dark mode in Google Photos.

How To Enable Dark Mode In Google Photos (Latest Update):

1.) Install the latest version of Google Photos. To check the latest version, Go to settings–>Apps–>Google Photos scroll down to see the version number.

2.) The 4.18 is the latest version for Google Photos. So if you have this version you are on the updated version. If you are not on the latest version update from below link.

If the update is not there for you, you can get the Google Photos APK from apkmirror.

If this doesn’t work, you can try below steps after updating.

4.) Now enable the developer options, Go to settings–build number–tap on the number 5 times to enable the developer options.

5.) This is the hidden dark mode option available in Android Oreo and above. It seems to be working with Google Photos.

6.) Now in developer options, there is night mode option. It is just above the debugging option.

7.) Now just tap on the night mode and select always ON. Or you can enable automatic (that’ll enable dark mode in the night).
